May You Be Warm This Christmas

Earlier this fall, I knitted my first pair of sock at the urging of Dr Smak, Dr Cris, and Geek2Nurse.  Those are my feet as I “modeled” them for a photo.
I gave them to my stepmother-in-law for her birthday.  She and my father-in-law were so impressed with them, they both began hinting that he needed a pair as his feet get cold.   He’s getting this pair for Christmas, modeled here by his son/my husband who now wants a pair.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas filled with warm feet, warm wishes, and warm hearts!

I'm not a knitter so I bite the bullet and pay for my wool socks because I love, love, love them. My feet and hands are always cold and wool socks are the best! Your family are very lucky to have someone who loves them enough to knit socks for them. Christmas blessings, marlene

Beautiful socks! My mom knitted me a beautiful cashmere purple scarf, for Christmas. I need to take a photo. My favorite gift, alongside the pillow.

Happy Holidays to you! I hope they are going well. And lucky family to get such cool gifts of knitted socks from you. One of the nurses in our ER makes thick knitted slipper/socks and he gave me a pair--they are amazing.

Enjoy...

A few years ago my grandmother knitted some socks for me. She got the size a little wrong and they ended up too big. However, I decided to use them with my walking boots and for this purpose, they are champion!! I am not (yet) inspired sufficiently to have a go myself... I'll just appreciate the beautiful ones made by Dr Cris and you Ramona :)
