Updated 3/2017-- all links removed (except to my own posts) removed as many no longer active.
As I clean out my office I am finding photos of quilts and quilt blocks I thought I had failed to document. Here is one from 2002 when I contributed a block to a project to ban landmines.
My block is a simple machine pieced heart which was then machine appliqued to the white fabric square. I wrote “band the use of land mines” across the top and signed it.

Here are some other links I was able to find on the project:

What a great idea! What a beautiful quilt!
quilt block is lovely and the finished quilt is a good project. Do you knit? lots of knitterly opportunities with sharp pointy sticks and yummy yarns to experiment with! .. and then there's needle felting .. sigh! ;-)
