Navaho Blues Finished

I finished the Navaho Blues quilt and mailed it off. It is machine pieced, 54 in X 76 in. It is machine and hand quilted as well as tied.

I did the hand quilting using crochet thread in a "big stitch" fashion.

Then used the same crochet thread to "tie" some corners using a square knot (of course). You can see a few of the ties in this photo.

One of the prettiest quilts I've ever seen!!!

Our church is doing a "Living Legacy" for Mother's day and decorating with quilts :)

Thanks for the comment on my post (surgexperience carnival). I'm also a quilter so I loved finding your site! This is a beautiful piece of work. I've only been doing baby quilts for the past 3 years, since my numerous nieces and nephews are starting the next generation of our family! Have to complete 3 more by July. : -)) Thanks again!
