My inspiration was by President Trump's tweet on December 18, 2018 that the border wall would
not be made of concrete but of “artistically designed steel slats, so
that you can see through it ….It will be beautiful and, at the same
time, give our Country the security that our citizens deserve.”
I added
green leafy vines up the steel slates to add help “beautify” the wall.Friday, January 18, 2019

Three More Knitted Hats
The first hat was knit using the pattern Jason's Cashmere Hat
by Melissa Thomson. The yarn is Malabrigo Yarn Rios in colorway Diana (#886). I think I may keep this one.
The second one was knit at my husband's request. I used the Regular Guy Beanie by Chuck Wright. The yarn is Cascade Superwash 220 in black.
I then used the leftover yarn from the above two hats to knit the third one seen below. I used the pattern Gingerbread Hat by Angela Whisnant.

Another Scrappy Child's Quilt
Finished this quilt last month. It measures 42.5 in X 56 in. It is machine pieced and quilted. The first photo is a full shot and the other three close up to show some of the different fabrics used.
In this section you can see zebras, an angel, motorcycle, sunflower, bear, Holly Hobby, and horses. In this section there are trees, sailboats, hobby horses, shapes/colors
In this section words (raiders, bbq, cat), dogs, a rooster, an elephant, zebras, an angel, flowers.
