I am a plastic surgeon in Little Rock, AR. I used to "suture for a living", I continue "to live to sew". These days most of my sewing is piecing quilts. I love the patterns and interplay of the fabric color. I would like to explore writing about medical/surgical topics as well as sewing/quilting topics. I will do my best to make sure both are represented accurately as I share with both colleagues and the general public.

Let’s Ride Baby Quilt
I made this baby quilt using some novelty fabric my sister gave me (the dogs on motorcycles) and other fabrics in my stash. The pattern is a nine-patch. The quilt is machine pieced and quilted. It is 41 in X 43 in. The back is simply white Kona cotton.
It is cross-hatch quilted using white thread.
Dogs on motorcycles! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI second the dogs on motorcycles. Your talents continue to amaze me.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
I like this quilt very much, particularly the border fabric. I now can't decide if I prefer this to the multi-coloured stripe you often use. They are both so much fun. :)
