Sometimes They Listen

She recognized me before I did her, walking toward me in the pet supply aisle in Wal-mart.

She giggled as she straightened her back and shoulders, “Hi, Dr. Bates.”

Smiling, I returned her hello.

  2. I tend to "lecture" on good posture, CA. So when she saw me, she straightened hers shoulders and back.

  3. I need your lecture, too! The shoulders going forward are the first thing to tip-off that I am tired!

  4. StorytellER: I agree with this. One thing I'm known for is my posture, despite the fact that me and Dolly Parton could be twins and good posture immediately highlights this fact! I usually find that my shoulders start to round and droop at the end of the day. And sometimes I find myself slouched in my chair at the computer. At that time, I physically make myself get up and touch my toes. That little exercise soon wakes everything else up...

  5. Hi Ramona - Got it thanks! :)

I always had good posture until computers. I catch myself hunching when sitting for long periods and I know, looks awful.

Sweet that you made an impression on her.

    Good idea Jabulani. :)
