I didn't strip quilt it, but I think it could be done that way.rlbateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15236331355857884458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7675087351939177300.post-52604206929853374682008-08-20T21:47:00.000-05:002008-08-20T21:47:00.000-05:00I sent the pic to my mother, who makes quilts, and...I sent the pic to my mother, who makes quilts, and she did not recognize the pattern. She looked in her umpteen books, too, plus asked some of her friends who also quilt. It's a pretty quilt. Mother wanted to know if it's strip quilted. She said she thought she had figured out a way to do it that way.

I grew up with quilters. My grandmothers hand-quilted and I have several of their quilts. My paternal grandmother had 17 children who all had multiple children. She made each grandchild a full sized quilt. Since my dad was the "baby" (youngest of the 17), my brother and I got two of the last she made. They are treasures to us.

It's a good thing you do, on the job and with the quilt piecing. Both add beauty to the world.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14910816445824791436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7675087351939177300.post-23029797692363462842008-08-15T13:09:00.000-05:002008-08-15T13:09:00.000-05:00Thank you both.Thank you both.rlbateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15236331355857884458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7675087351939177300.post-35079875946514892742008-08-15T13:06:00.000-05:002008-08-15T13:06:00.000-05:00Wow, that's a really lovely pattern, not too "patt...Wow, that's a really lovely pattern, not too "patterny," but still enough repetition to work well.Bardiachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11846065504793800266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7675087351939177300.post-3122272469472278502008-08-15T08:54:00.000-05:002008-08-15T08:54:00.000-05:00This reminds me a little of yellow brick road or t...This reminds me a little of yellow brick road or turning twenty but it's not really either of those.
